All materials on the KIET home page for which the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade is the sole copyright holder are public records, the use of which is governed by Article 24, Paragraph 2 of the Copyright Act. The Korea Open Government License (KOGL) scheme (broadly similar to the Creative Commons license sytem) coordinates the use of public records through a categorization system; public records with a Category 1 KOGL license are public domain and may be used freely. Please verify the category under which any and all public records obtained on the KIET home page are licensed before use; please contact us with any questions.
There are limitations on the use of public records with other KOGL licenses; the use of these materials requires the explicit consent of the copyright holder and usage is circumscribed by categorical rules. Works with a Category 2 license may not be used for commercial purposes (i.e., profit-seeking), but may be duplicated and edited without prior authorization from the copyright holder.
